2) Price your items with removable tags or stickers ahead of time. - As a general rule, price items about 20% - 40% below what it would cost new, depending on the condition and age of the item.

 

3) Arrange items on card tables, picnic tables, or display on the driveway.  Group similar items together. 

 

4) Hang cloths from racks, metal rods strung across the rafters or wire strung across the garage.

 

5) Have a pad & pen ready to keep track of what people are buying and use a calculator to add up the charges.

 

6) Have plenty of paper bags on hand to fill up with items for your buyers. 

 

7) Have about $30.00 to $50.00 in small change on hand to make change for people.

 

8) During the final hours, be open to offers and reduce prices.
